Adjunct Professor-World Heath Innovation Network, Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Canada. Honorary Professor-Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University, Australia.Visiting professor of Indian Institute of Management, Indian Institute of Technology and others and authored two books ‘Innovations in Healthcare Management : Cost Effective and Sustainable Solutions’ with National & International authors published by CRC press in USA in 2015 and Special Indian edition in 2017. Book has prestigious Shingo publication award 2018 and adopted by IIMs. Another book “Planning and Designing Healthcare Facilities: Lean, Innovative and Evidence Based" is published in Oct 2017 by same publisher. Launched global magazine in healthcare innovation called InnoHEALTH in 2016. He is MBBS, Masters in Hospital Administration, Diplomate National Board in Hospital and Health Care Management and M Phil.

Served as Deputy Chief Medical Officer of United Nations and visited 42 countries. Awarded Vishisht Seva Medal (Distinguished Services Medal) for services at Zambia by the President of India and commendation of Govt. of Zambia. Was Adjunct Professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) Zaragoza and Adjunct Research Professor- International Health Innovation Center, Ivey School of Business, University of Ontario, Canada. Was Consultant of National Disaster Management Authority and has formulated national guidelines for disaster on mass management of casualties. Was Founder Director of International Institute of Health Management & Research and President and is Fellow of Academy of Hospital Administration, Chairman, Health Care Division of Quality Council of India and has trained assessors and set standards for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH) of India. Was Chairman of Healthcare Committee of Quality Council of India. Consultant in JCI accreditation system and is Assessor of European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Developed Health specific EFQM model released in India by Union Health Minister in Dec 2010. Had been Lead Assessor of ISO and is consultant and trainer in application of Lean principles in Health care. Was Director of healthcare Asia of Simpler dealing with Lean healthcare excellence. Member of Telemedicine Society of India and Member of National Public Health Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Planned and executed health/hospital projects by cutting down cost at planning, operations and transformation of health organizations in India and abroad by applying Lean, innovations and evidence-based principles.

He has founded/invested in multiple ventures in the domain of digital marketing, mobile solutions and Internet of Things. He has a double M.Sc.(tech) in Mobile Security and Cryptography from Aalto University, Finland and University of Tartu, Estonia. He has worked in past with organizations like Adobe, C.E.R.N. and in research at the Aalto University in security related topics. Also, he has a dozen patents issued/pending in USPTO apart from contributing book chapters in two books on topics of Innovation and Healthcare.

Frans van den Boom PhD MBA, has more than 30 years leadership and management experience in professional international, multilingual and cross-cultural organizations, ranging from start-ups to mature organizations. He has unique experience in working with state and non-state actors in high, mid and low-income countries and working at the interfaces of political outreach, public policy development, resource mobilization, public health and health (services) research , planning and evaluation, and communication.

Dr. van den Boom has served as the Vice President, Country and Regional Programs and Executive Director Europe of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI) for 10 years, responsible for vaccine preparedness and community mobilization programs, the social and behavioral sciences program, and resource mobilization. He also served as Executive Director Policy, Planning and Evaluation at Qatar Foundation R&D (4 years), and Executive Director of the Dutch Top sector Life Sciences and Health(2 years). He joined the Human Vaccines Project in July 2018 as Executive Director Europe.

Dr Shirshendu Mukherjee, trained as a Medical Microbiologist brings with him more than 25 years of experience in academic institutes, Pharma companies and decade long experience in national, international philanthropic and Government funding agencies and has been instrumental in supporting the innovation ecosystem in India and beyond. Dr Mukherjee is currently the Mission Director of the Grand Challenges India, the flagship program of the partnership between the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Wellcome Trust. This platform supports initiatives that could dramatically change the health and development landscape in India. He also heads the Intellectual Property (IP) & Technology Transfer (TT) and Communications Division in BIRAC. In addition to the above, Dr Mukherjee also leads the National Health Authority (NHA) (Ayushman Bharat – PM-JAY) Start-up Grand Challenges program from BIRAC. Dr. Mukherjee holds Ph.D. in Microbiology, Law graduate, leadership course form Said Business school university of Oxford and Global Health Leadership course from London School of Health & Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). Dr Mukherjee is also a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) certified by the Alliance of Technology Transfer Professionals (ATTP) and is an Honorary Scientific Advisor to the Indian Patent Office. Dr Mukherjee is also the Country Ambassador in India for the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (RSTMH). He is also the General Secretary of the Society for Technology Management professionals (STEM).

Dr. Arjun Dang is the Chief Executive Officer of the highly acclaimed for Quality , Dr Dangs Lab, situated in Delhi NCR. He completed his M.B.B.S and M.D in Pathology from Sri Ramachandra Medical College,Chennai post which he did a Clinical Fellowship in Liver Pathology from King’s College Hospital, London. DR Dang has worked as a Senior Resident in the department of Specialised Hematology (including flowcytometry) in Lady Hardinge Medical College and as a Research Fellow in department of histopathology in Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, New Delhi. At Dr Dangs Lab he plays a critical role in handling strategy & operations of the Lab.,enhancing patient care and training of staff. Dr Dang has worked extensively and is a renowned speaker in the areas of GI disorders and Allergy and has developed very specialized panels to aid diagnosis of these conditions .He also has a special interest in the field of oncology, he has done extensive work in the field of Triple Negative Breast carcinomas and also has publications on medullary carcinoma. Apart from this he has done various presentations related to primary adenocarcinoma of lung and dedifferentiated liposarcomas.
Dr. Dangs Lab was one of the first 3 labs to have started testing for H1N1 in 2009 and was amongst the first few private labs in New Delhi to be granted permission for testing for COVID 19. Dr. Arjun Dang has played a critical role in
1) Defining protocols related to infection control, training of staff, operations protocols, inventory management and analytical procedures. 2) Authenticating all molecular biology reports and maintaining the highest levels of quality.
3) Communication with ICMR and other govt. bodies regarding advisories and role of private laboratories for COVID 19 testing.
4) Setting up of India’s first drive thru centre for sample collection for Covid 19 patients
5) Dr. Dangs Lab, New Delhi was selected as the central lab for safety testing of COVAXIN (India’s first indigenous COVID19 vaccine ) for which the entire testing in phase 1 & 2 was performed at the central lab . The lab is currently also performing lab screening & safety for a number of covid19 vaccine manufacturers.
