Surgeon R Admiral V K Singh, VSM (Retd) is Managing Director of InnovatioCuris (IC), Chairman InnovatioCuris Foundation of Healthcare Excellence (ICFHE) a not for profit organization. Adjunct Professor-World Heath Innovation Network, Odette School of Business, University of Windsor, Canada. Honorary Professor-Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University, Australia.Visiting professor of Indian Institute of Management, Indian Institute of Technology and others and authored two books ‘Innovations in Healthcare Management : Cost Effective and Sustainable Solutions’ with National & International authors published by CRC press in USA in 2015 and Special Indian edition in 2017. Book has prestigious Shingo publication award 2018 and adopted by IIMs. Another book “Planning and Designing Healthcare Facilities: Lean, Innovative and Evidence Based" is published in Oct 2017 by same publisher. Launched global magazine in healthcare innovation called InnoHEALTH in 2016. He is MBBS, Masters in Hospital Administration, Diplomate National Board in Hospital and Health Care Management and M Phil.

Served as Deputy Chief Medical Officer of United Nations and visited 42 countries. Awarded Vishisht Seva Medal (Distinguished Services Medal) for services at Zambia by the President of India and commendation of Govt. of Zambia. Was Adjunct Professor of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, (MIT) Zaragoza and Adjunct Research Professor- International Health Innovation Center, Ivey School of Business, University of Ontario, Canada. Was Consultant of National Disaster Management Authority and has formulated national guidelines for disaster on mass management of casualties. Was Founder Director of International Institute of Health Management & Research and President and is Fellow of Academy of Hospital Administration, Chairman, Health Care Division of Quality Council of India and has trained assessors and set standards for National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare providers (NABH) of India. Was Chairman of Healthcare Committee of Quality Council of India. Consultant in JCI accreditation system and is Assessor of European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). Developed Health specific EFQM model released in India by Union Health Minister in Dec 2010. Had been Lead Assessor of ISO and is consultant and trainer in application of Lean principles in Health care. Was Director of healthcare Asia of Simpler dealing with Lean healthcare excellence. Member of Telemedicine Society of India and Member of National Public Health Committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Planned and executed health/hospital projects by cutting down cost at planning, operations and transformation of health organizations in India and abroad by applying Lean, innovations and evidence-based principles.

Biten Kathrani is the Head of R&D for Asia Pacific & Japan for Johnson & Johnson Vision Care. Based in Singapore, he also leads the Global Myopia and Beauty Contact Lens Platform R&D and represents APAC region in the Global Vision Care R&D Leadership team. He is also responsible for leading for J&J Vision Care’s strategic Myopia Research Collaboration program with SNEC / Singapore Eye Research Institute.

Biten has been in the healthcare / medical device industry for 25+ years leading R&D, Innovation and new ventures in APAC (China, Singapore and India) and USA. He has led medtech R&D organizations in Asia Pacific for Johnson & Johnson (between 1999 to 2014), Boston Scientific (between 2014-2018) and a start-up (1994- 1999). He has been instrumental in setting up Global and Asia R&D centers for J&J’s medical device businesses and Boston Scientific’s cross business Global R&D Centers in Asia ((in India and China).

He has lead R&D programs and talent teams to deliver 15+ diverse medical devices and 50+ patents covering single use disposable devices, capital equipment & instruments and software & connected health platforms for Class III implantables. He has had the opportunity to work across 8+ disease states including General Surgery & Endoscopy, Orthopedic surgery, Diabetes, Interventional Cardiology, Neuromodulation, Nephrology and most recently Vision Care.

He has been a proponent of Clinical needs & Insights driven innovation and has been associated with the Stanford Biodesign (USA, Singapore and India) program since 2009. He is also a member of the Founders Forum, a volunteer organization setup by Stanford Biodesign alumni to support medtech startups through their commercialization and scale up journey.

Biten holds an MBA from the ivy league Wharton Business School, an M. Tech in Biomedical Engineering from IIT Mumbai; and he is a certified Patent Agent with the India Patent Office. He has launched more that 15 products and has several granted patents in this name.

Mr. Pavan Choudary is the Managing Director of Vygon, a leading French Multinational in the field of Healthcare, He is the bestselling author of Healthcare and Management books like The Rx Factor and How a Good Person Can Really Win. He also has as his co-authors Dr. Kiran Bedi, the Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry & Mr Anil Shastri, Ex Union Finance Minister. He has done a column with the Times of India, currently writes for Firstpost and is the TV Host of “Hum Aisey Kyun Hain” where he takes up several healthcare issues with leading doctors and policy makers of the country. Two areas in medicine are especially close to his heart, Patient Safety & Quality in Healthcare and Safe Neonatal Vascular Access. He is the main person behind the Neonatal PICC movement in India. He is also one among the only two industry members, nominated by the GOI on the DTAB Sub Committee for provision of compensation for Medical Device Malfunction. He is the recipient of several awards like the Intellectual Icon of the year award, Business Excellence Award, Eric Hoffer Award etc. He sits on some of the most prestigious advisory boards/boards of India in the commercial and socio-political space. Notable among these from the healthcare point of view are Medical Technology Association of India, Transasia Biomedicals, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Memorial Trust, Executive Access, Bhartiya Videsh Niti Parishad, Blue Circle (Unified Leadership Pvt. Ltd.) and Wisdom Village Publications. He is consulted by leaders from different works of life on business & life.
